Jack and the Beanstalk 2014

As part of a work placement,
I cut and constructed a Dame costume and contributed to two other Dame costumes for RCT's production of Jack and the Beanstalk in Abedare.

The main costume I created was the 'AstroTurf Dame', designed by Caroline Thomas.  I pattern cut the costume and contructed it; it consists of a satin bodice with appiqued flower, gathered sleeves with AstroTurf frill and I quilted the skirt and made the AstroTurf trim with appliqued the flowers.  
I worked on parts of two other Dame constumes; the 'Spotty Dame' where I reconstructed the bodice, and contructed elements of the 'Santa Dame'.
